WebサービスのAPIとかを利用する際に、JavaScriptによる非同期通信（Ajax）で通信しようとすると、必ずと言っていいほどクロスドメインの問題にぶち当たる。
最近ではJSONPに対応しているAPIも多くなってきたが、それでもまだSOAPやRESTによる、XML通信が大半を占めているのが現状である。
戻り値がJSONPによる通信の場合はクロスドメインを意識しないで済むが、そうじゃない場合はそうはいかない。
つまり、別ドメインの場合はJSONPを使用しない限りは、JavaScriptのみでのAjax通信は不可能ということになる。（ブラウザの仕様）

Wordpress パーマリンク設定
/%category%/%postname%.html
カスタム設定に↑をいれることで「/カテゴリー/記事名.html」と設定できるようになる。
（この機能はmod_rewriteの機能を利用します。）
※ただし、xamppでは初期設定でmod_rewriteが動作しない設定になっているので注意が必要。
同じくレンタルサーバーも対応していないサーバーもあるので要チェック。
■xamppの設定
xampp¥apache¥confフォルダの中にあるhttpd.confというファイルをテキストエディタなどで開きます。
#LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so
と書かれた行を見つけて、これを
LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so
というように書き換えます。
